What is Gua Sha?


GUA SHA is a traditional, ancient Chinese healing technique. GUA – means to scrape in Chinese, SHA – means a red rash in Chinese. In the general translation GUA SHA is scraping the skin of the body up to its dullness. More than a beauty regimen, it's a journey of self-discovery and healing.

How the program works


This is a 30 day program with online lessons 2 times a week, a total of 8 sessions.Each session lasts 40 minutes. The date and times can be organised in agreement with the teacher and the participant.

Before the start of the first session, the teacher will provide brief information about Gua Sha treatment tools, oils, and cream that need to be used, how to clean the Gua Sha tool and what to do after the treatment.

During the session, the focus areas are the face, head and neck.


IMPORTANT: The session will be done minimum 3 participants.


Learning outcomes

  • After this program you will learn many acupoints on the face and head.
  • You will be eligible to make massage on your face and head.
  • You will learn relaxing acupoints on the face and head.
  • You will learn how to deal with neck pain

What you need

  • Gua Sha tool and soup spoon (these are optional). You can even use your index finger.
  • Any oil or cream that you use everyday.
  • A clean face
